Editorial Policy
Last reviewed: August 9, 2026
Scope
Our articles explain dot characters and the contexts in which people use them. We keep each article tied to a clear symbol, formatting task, or Unicode question.
Sources and accuracy
Technical claims should be consistent with the Unicode Standard and the documented behavior of the named platform or language. Where a guide relies on an external authority, it links to that source so readers can verify the detail.
Publication integrity
Approved article titles, descriptions, body text, categories, and tags are published as one complete record. The website does not silently rewrite an article or inject promotional links after approval.
Corrections
Material corrections are treated as an editorial change and should update the visible modification date. To report an issue, email support@dot-symbol.com with the article URL and the detail that needs review.
